our history
Archatäs was re-established in 1991; formerly J. S. Luckino, A.I.A., Architects/Planners. A need to have a company recognized for its achievements as a whole rather than an individual caused the restructure. It was felt that the non-personalized name would encourage growth for new architects and establish a firm that would endure as its products would endure.
We have grown to an office that strives to open its doors to the well-seasoned professional mixing with newly graduated professionals. The principal, Mr. Jim Luckino, has practiced in the profession for more than 30 years, experiencing almost every phase and form of architecture. Our experience is collective and spans multiple decades of design works from some of Ohio’s largest and most prestigious design firms.
our philosophy
For good design to be successful, it should be dynamic and timeless. Inappropriate design is usually self-revealing. Architecture has the appearance of being contextually integrated. To work well, architecture must also be functional, resulting in self-sufficiency devoid of constant maintenance.
personal background
Mr. Luckino is a leading and sought-after forensic architect. We provide a comprehensive and critical observation of construction failures that may involve design errors, product failures, and construction deficiencies. Mr. Luckino serves as an expert witness in the above matters as wall as providing litigation support. A C.V. is available upon request in addition to a client listing.
